Alex Zhidetskiy PT, DPT is a dedicated physical therapist with an international background. Born and raised in Ukraine, he moved to Long Beach, California at the age of seven. This drastic shift from experiencing all four seasons to constant summer initiated his love for staying active and outdoors. Alex is not just a physical therapist; he’s also been a patient himself. His own journey through multiple ankle injuries and years of physical therapy sparked his interest in this field. He has firsthand experience of the transformative power of physical therapy, and it’s this understanding that fuels his passion for helping others.
After earning his B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, Alex pursued his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Chapman University. Now, he specializes in orthopedics, geriatrics, and pre-habilitation.
At Wellness Tribe, Alex offers personalized, one-on-one sessions where he spends the entire time with the patient, creating an individualized program each session. His goal is to empower his patients, turning them into experts on their own bodies. He believes in the potential of every individual and is driven by seeing his patients progress daily.
Alex is bilingual, speaking both English and Russian, which helps him connect with a diverse range of patients. When he’s not transforming lives in the clinic, you can find him staying active by working out, participating in Spartan races, hiking, and venturing into cosplay.
