Kareem is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and a Medical Fitness Specialist. He is trained to work with people with medical conditions, chronic diseases, disabilities, or cognitive issues. He believes in using an evidence-based approach to fitness that includes progressive training. He keeps up on the latest exercise science research, studies and education to create tailored fitness programs for people of all ages and health challenges.

Kareem has deep passion for teaching and coaching strength and resistance training. As a personal enthusiast in strength training and conditioning, he strives to learn the most effective science based methods to safely improve strength, cardiovascular health and endurance. With an emphasis on Medical Fitness, he has special training and takes special consideration in regards to clients with contraindications to standard exercise and can assist where other trainers are not qualified.

Having his mother personally go through Dementia has shown him firsthand the devastation cognitive diseases can have. Kareem wants to do his best to help educate people on the importance of physical activity combined with cognitive exercises to help mitigate and slow the progression of these diseases as well as reduce the risk of falling ill in the first place.

Kareem is bilingual (English and Spanish).
