Free Community Seminar | Regular Physical Activity, Healthspan and Longevity

This is an in-person seminar at the MedFit Center, 151 Kalmus Drive, Ste K3 in Costa Mesa, CA.

Refreshments and Drinks at 6:00pm. Seminar starts promptly at 6:30pm.

Regular aerobic exercise, high-intensity interval training (HIIT), and resistance training collectively form a powerful trifecta in promoting overall health and longevity. Engaging in aerobic exercise enhances cardiovascular health, reduces the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease and diabetes, and boosts overall well-being. HIIT, with its alternating bursts of intense activity and rest, not only improves cardiovascular fitness but also enhances metabolic function, promoting weight management and insulin sensitivity. Resistance training, on the other hand, strengthens muscles and bones, contributing to improved body composition and enhanced functional capacity. The combination of these three forms of exercise has been consistently linked to a reduction in all-cause mortality risks, meaning individuals are less susceptible to a wide range of health issues. Moreover, these exercise modalities have been shown to increase healthspan, ensuring that individuals not only live longer but also enjoy a higher quality of life. Regular participation in this comprehensive approach to fitness stands as a cornerstone for promoting longevity and overall well-being.
