Free Community Seminar: Exercise and Healthy Aging

Refreshments and Drinks at 6:00pm. Seminar starts promptly at 6:30pm.

As we age, physiological changes occur. However, the outdated notion that aging means “sitting in a rocking chair” and not being active is no longer supported by research. Although we cannot change our chronological age, we can change our physiological age. Regular exercise helps people age more slowly and live healthier, more vibrant lives. This workshop will review the scientific evidence supporting the critical role of regular aerobic exercise and weight training in healthy aging.
